MEtoWE: Putting Your Money Into Good

I have been familiar with Me to We fro sometime now and I believe that most youth in Canada are as well through their innovative and inspiring We Days. What I love so much about ME to WE is that it creates options for consumers, making it easier to make informed decisions about what you buy. When you buy at ME to WE product you know that buy choosing to spend your money with them you are helping empower people and transform lives.

ME to WE has hosted pop-up shops and a successful e-commerce sight as well as partnerships with brands such as Fossil, Holt Renfrew and more; but now they are opening their first ever flagship store in one of the busiest malls in the GTA, The Eaton Centre on July 28th 2016. Many of us want to make more conscious decisions when spending our money, making sure that it goes to help those who are manufacturing the products themselves and not going straight to profit while workers are being taken advantage of.

Each product sold by ME toWE has a really neat feature called "Track Your Impact", on the product there is a eight digit tracking code that when you input it into WE.ORG you can track the impact of your purchase. One of ME to WE's most popular item is the Rafiki Bracelet, there are a wide variety of styles each for a special cause. I have both an Education Rafiki bracelet and a Water Rafiki bracelet. "In Swahili, the word for friend is rafiki," my education bracelet gives access to one year of education for a child overseas while my water bracelet gives one month of clean water to a child overseas. At only $10 a bracelet, these were an easy purchase to make.
