New Year New Hair with OGX

The end of last month, OGX generously sent me two of their new shampoos that will become available this month as well as a new hair tonic to revitalize and refresh my blond locks. With a blog called The Blond Champagne I put effort into my hair and hair care routine, my hair is my brand and I take care of it - at one point it was falling out and since then I have valued it greatly.

I love volume when it comes to my own hair. I have long, fine but thick hair. It's a weird combination and often I can end up with it looking heavy and limp. Being a blond, it is also importnat to me to rehydrate my hair as my ends can become brittle and dry quickly. With all of these wants and concerns hair care can be difficult and I find it difficult to find products that work for me and that I like.

I have used OGX products before, I love their body washes and their packaging has always caught my eye when walking through the hair care aisle of my local drug store. The company is really cool. When you visit their site, their vibe is instantly felt. Too often hair company's want to "fix" your hair, transform it (usually unsucessfully) into something it's not. OGX wants to know what you love about your hair and help you love it more. They are all about attainable, wash, go and love your hair. Using ingredients form around the world OGX offers a wide variety of hair care to meet an ven wider variety of hair needs.

The first shampoo I tested was the Intensely Invigorating Eucalyptus Mint. Intensely Invigorating is the perfect descriptive for this shampoo. As soon as you start to lather through your roots, your scalp begins to tingle and your hair feels lighter and clean. I often use a cleansing shampoo to strip product build up from my roots and this had become the perfect solution. If you regularly go to the gym and after feel that your hair is heavy with sweat I would highly recommend this product for your after shower, cleaning your hair and extending the reinvigorating energy of your work out.

I then gave the Gravity-Defying & Hydration + O2 Shampoo and it's after shower counter part Anti-Gravity + Hydration O2 Weightless Oil + Lifting Tonic. Long names but they tell you ecatly what these products do. Having fine hair I find that using in shower conditioners too often leave my ahir feeling heavy and looking greasey so I love when I can find an after shower product that works to hydrate my hair withoutweighing it down. These two products deliver on thair promise, my hair feels fresh, clean, hydrated and has an added boost of volume. Added bonus? This collection smells amazing! Like fresh air on a mountain top. I can't recommend these two enough.

If you are looking to refresh your hair care routine for the new year but don't want to break the bank doing so, I would suggest you make your way to your local drug store and find the OGX product for you but these ones definitely come with my seal of approval.
