Bloomin'Brilliant Jewellery

Like most youg women my age, I love perusing the Instagram world at my finger tips. I love discovering the fashion of other women around the world, the beautiful dream interiors and all of the #goals you find under all of the "inspiring" photographs. Once in a while though I land on a gem of an account that I fall head over heels for and believe that it all must be fate when I find out that the owner of said account is located in the same city as myself.

Bloomin' Brilliant is the beautiful creation of Rhea Jacinto. Rhea began her journey of Bloomin' Brilliant in 2013 when she started designing jewellery as a hobby. Rhea decided to pursue formal training at George Brown college and within the year her collection was launched.

Rhea's beautiful collection is made using traditional metalsmith techniques and hand fabrication, using the finest materials both locally sourced and internationally found. I love how Rhea's designs tell a story through the influences of modern art, industrial forms, geometry and urban landscapes all while combined with nostalgic character and history. The lines featured within her collection incorporate texture, graphic elements and floral motifs to create a modern sculptural design.

I selected three beautiful pieces form the Solaris Line of the Bloomin' Brilliant collection. I loved the vintage inspiration taht gave off a seventies vibe but it was distinctly modern. I have worn the pieces together and on their own, all can be a statement but still work well together. The brass materials are unique offering a modern update in a jewellery landscape filled of gold and silver. Every time I have worn the pieces someone compliments them. Remarking on the the beautiful chain links and finish of the metal.

With the holiday season upon us and the mad hunt for the perfect gift taking over, I know jewellery is a popular idea. I cannot recommend Bloomin' Brilliant enough. With such a wide variety of designs and styles all while maintaining a cohesive look, this Toronto based collection is perfect for any jewellery appreciating woman.
