#NeverUncomfortable with Sanuk

"Sanuk" means fun in Thai and there may be no better word to describe the company started by Jeff Kelley in 1997. Kelley started making footwear using innertubes and outdoor/indoor carpet with the inetntions of creating footwear that was fun, creative and innovative.

Kelley's founding principles along with the company's genuine spirit keeps Sanuk true to its roots as a brand that strives to spread unconventional comfort without the sacrifice of style. Sanuk speaks to what I look for in my everyday fashion choices. I want options that offer uique style while being comfortable, and when it comes to shoes this is even more important.

With temperatures falling I was in need of a pair of warm boots that I could walk outside in without hanging my head in shame. I knew Sanuk made cool warm weather shoes in fun prints and a wide variety of textiles and their yoga mat flip flops are legendary but I was pleasantly surprised when I found the Siena Boot. In the cool suede and brushed textile along with the metal buckle, these boots are the perfect balance of effotrless cool and comfort I strive for in my closet. Comfort, oh the comfort of these boots. They are made for prolonged wear and walking, with the squishy footbed and flexible, yet durable outsole I can wear them all day without complaint. Maybe thats what's so refreshing about Sanuk, you would hope that all shoes companies would gurantee a comfortable shoe, however as anyone's experience could tell you that's not always the case. Sanuk is never uncomfortable while keeping their west coast cool in mind.
