It's not every day that you see a London Taxi cab in the streets of Toronto, a stretch one at that, but it's even rarer to say that you had your makeup done in the back of said taxi. Today in the streets of Toronto I was fortunate enough to have a #TilburyTransformation in the back of the Tilbury Taxi as Charlotte Tilbury is on her mission of taking Canada by storm.

I was incredibly excited when I saw that the Charlotte Tilbury team would be performing #TilburyTransformations this week to celebrate her Canadian Launch at Holt Renfrew, Bloor street, this Wednesday. Too often when a company is offering "makeovers" they quickly apply some shadow, blush and lipstick and send you on your way-that was definitely not the case with the Tilbury team. When I arrived they asked which one of Charlotte's ten looks would I like, anyone who know's me knows that I have an affection for the mediaterannean so I asked for her The Dolce Vita look-inspired by Sophia Loren and my personal favourite Penelope Cruz.

Seated in the London stretch taxi, make up artist Sarah Jane began my Tilbury transformation, she removed my daily make up and began with Charlotte's Magic Cream. If you have never heard of Charlotte's Magic Cream itis stuff of legend, she created it as a backstage make up artist in need of a better cream and it went from a tool in her own personal arsenal to an in demand product of the supermodels and stars she made over.

After applying theMagic cream she began making up my face with foundation and concealer, topped with a light dusting of powder-Charlotte's powder felt unlike any powder I had felt before (there's a lot) it was silky and light and was smooth to the touch. I had the Filmstar Bronze and Glow treatment, creating those filmstar cheekbones of legend and adding definietion to the beautiful canvas on my face created with the Wonderglow primer and Light Wonder spf15 foundation.

Commencing The Dolce Vita look started with the beautiful glow of my cheeks, Charlotte Tilbury has a revolutionary blusher of Swish&Pop where you begin with the outer ring of the blush and and swish it on your face then you follow up with the centre of the blusher, a brighter hue, and add that pop of colour on your cheeks. While transforming my face Sarah Jane was an absolute delight and it felt like I was having my makeup done by a very talented friend, as she worked away I was fortunate enough to speak with some of the other members of the Tilbury Team and every one of them was like Sarah Jane-a completely authetic person with an evident passion for what they do.

Sarah Jane set away with my eyes using the precision of a master but following the simple instructions that come along with the Charlotte Tilbury palettes, showing how easy they are to use. Using The Dolce Vita luxury palette and finishing with the Feline Flick felt liner she crafted the cat eye of my dreams but in taking me along each step I left confident that with the easy to use products I would be able to recreate it. Finishing with my favourite Penelope's Pink lipstick and Pillow Talk Lip Liner all topped off with Lip Lustre lip lacquer in Seduction. I was set to take on the world, I felt beautiful and empowered which at the end of the day is Charlotte's goal, making women feel their best.

I am absolutley smitten with Charlotte Tilbury and her team and I ensure you that once you experince this revolutionary Britt's makeup so will you. Charlotte is having her official launch at Holt Renfrew Bloor Street Wednesday June 24th from 6pm-8pm and I encourage you to attend. the Tilbury Taxi will be in Toronto until the 25th on Queen West and the in Liberty Village, get all of the details here.
