Every woman I have ever met understands the pain inflicted by frizz. Its a beautiful summer day, you're excited to pull out the warm weather outfit you have been saving, spend some time on your hair and makeup just to step outside and see your hair grow with the humdity and the frizz to ensue. I have relativley straight hair but even I get the frizz that only comes with humidity and I, like many, have a difficult time finding a frizz dismissing product.

This past week I was fortunate enought to attend the launch of Redken's latest product promising to banish frizz from your summer hair. At first I was a little apprehensive, as someone with fine but thick hair I usually find that these one size fits all frizz products weigh my hair down and leave it looking more greasey than styled. However, Redken's latest innovation is far from one-size-fits-all and may be one of the most customiseable hair solutions I have ever seen, offering a solution-for-all!

Redken Frizz Dismiss Collection offers the first ever Frizz Protection Factor (FPF) offering four levels of smoothing and giving you the right prescription for your level of frizziness. We're all familliar with sun protection and how depending on your skin type, the weather and how long you'll be outside you use the appropriate amount of SPF, well now Redken takes your hair type and the humidity in consideration offering your the proper amount of FPF. Simply using any weather app, look for the humidity index for the day and contrast that with your hair type and you will know which product to use.

After hearing about all of the work that went into creating this new line I was eager to put it to use and see how it worked, and with the upcoming long weekend I could not think of a better time. This past weekend I was with my Mum and sister at my parent's cottage, both of them have curly hair but my Mum has coarse hair and my sister more medium. I showed them the products and we all decided to give them a go as we enjoyed the weekend.

We all used the Frizz-Dismiss Sulfate Free Shampoo and we could not get over how good it smells, the entire line smells like a luxurious getaway in the bottle-why not take a trip while getting ready? I used the Smooth Force Lightweight Smoothing Lotion Spray in my fine hair, like a leave in conditioner, it offered moisture and shine without the weight and without the frizz. I was immediatley impressed with how it nixed the frizz while keeping the volume I desperatley love.

The real test however was going to come when my Mum and Sister tried the line on their curly locks. My sister will make jokes that in the humidity her hair bcomes a yield sign and my Mum is always infusing moisture into her hair, leaving her hair product filled in the care free days of summer. I was in shock with the one day results of the Rebel Tame Leave in Smoothing Control Cream, to me both of their hair looked luscious and moisture filled after the one time application and I would go as far to say that their hair just looked better. Without the frizz, it looked healthier and their hair colour looked amplified.

The Frizz Dismiss Fly-Away Fix sheets should be in any woman's bag, going form a long day at the office to a night out with the girls, the sheets offer quick smoothing touch ups that give you the polish your want without having to restyle your hair.

I am sold on the Redken Frizz Dismiss Collection for the upcoming warm weather season. I love how they offer a solution for all hair types and all weather types, allowing in home, simple customisation for every woman. As the temperatures rise and more days will be spent outside I will be using the system to keep my hair looking the way I want it to. I am going to be exchanging my frizz for the sound of fizz from a glass of champagne while enjoying the warm weather.
