Hair Revolution with Kérastase Paris

My favourite part of a salon visit isn't just leaving with my dream hair but how my dream hair feels. There is a product for everything, and there have been many times when I have started questioning myself and if I even really know my own hair!

I have been using these products for two weeks now and they have been transformative for my hair. I have very fine hair and a lot of it, which means often throughout the day the weight of my hair falls flat leaving my long, blond locks looking less than.

First I bathe my hair with the Kérastase Bain Volumifique and for starters it smells DIVINE, I massage it in to my scalp and through my hair taking out the traces of my day and ensuring that I get all of the benefits of the thickening effect and volume.

Then I use the Kérastase Volumifique Thickening effect Gel Treatment. In using this product I had to change my routine a bit. This Gel Treatment needs to be applied to shampooed hair after it has been towel dried, but it is not a leave in conditioner. So, I stop my shower after I was my hair, towel dry my hair, apply the gel treatment, leave it in for 2-3 minutes which is a great time to wash your face or lather your legs and after the 2-3 minutes I turn the shower back on and rinse it out.

The Final part of my Kérastase Volumifique routine is when I use the Impulse Amplifying Mousse, I'll be honest this product had me at it's name but the results cannot be denied. It offers blow dry protection and leaves your hair with a natural shine without any of that crunchy mousse feel.

The Kérastase Oléo-Curl Curl Definition Cream for thick and curly hair is a life saver. Having Blond hair takes some serious upkeep and can take a toll on your locks, this nutritious hair cream saves me from the drying effects that having blond hair can take. I use a dime sized amount and apply it to the bottoms of my hair throughout the winter protecting my hair from split ends and I use a little more in the summer to moisturise my hair after all the beach fun in the sun.

Every girl needs a go to hair spray and too often hair sprays can leave your hair sticky, helmet hard and sometimes smelling like a chemical bath. I need a hairspray that can deliver, my very straight hair does not like to stay in a curl but the Kérastase K Laque Micro Mist Fixing Hairspray with Medium Hold lets my hair look as good at the end of the day as it did when I styled it at the start. It smells wonderful, like I just left a Parisian Salon and it's the only hair spray I would ever consider using.
