Showing How It's Done: Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep is the most nominated actor or actress of all time and has one three awards for acting. So the Academy Awards are her Sunday dinner. There is a reason that she is sitting front row dead centre and when Neil Patrick Harris was asked who he saw first when he walked on stage he answered, "Meryl". At this pace Oscar is going to get a gender re-assignment and become a "Meryl".

The best part about Meryl Streep though is she is authentic. I never feel like she is playing a game, she says what she thinks, hold's nothing back and people listen. Everyone is circulating the picture of her and Jennifer Lopez after Patricia Arquette delivered her AMAZING acceptance sppech (more on that later) but I was watching the video again today and in a second watch, JLo follows Meryl. JLo took the cue that once Meryl lost it she could too.

Meryl wore Lanvin last night and she looks stunning. I love the earrings, the skirt and how it looks both elevated and relaxed because when you're the most nominated actor or history and have three awards at home-who do you need to impress? They're trying to impress you at this point.
