Disney Fashion Dreams

I, like many of us, was raised in Disney dreams. My sister and I would lay out all of the VHS tapes on the ground, come on you all did it, and decide which magical world we wanted to go to that day.

As I got older my love for the whimsy and dreams that only Disney could offer did not disappear but there was little to offer in fashionable Disney swag. Until now when the high fashion world seems to have embraced their inner child and have gone back to the Disney classics to inspire their high fashion offerings.

Here are some of my favourites this holiday season and would be a hit with any fashion loving, Disney girl at heart!

These little gold plated studs are adorable and you can never have too many pairs of gold studs. The dainty style is very on trend this season and these are subtle Disney whimsy at it's best. Sweetest part? At $19 these Mickey Mouse Stude Earrings from Disney Couture are a great little something!

Accessory designer extrodinaire, Olympia Le Tan, has released a collection of box clutches all hand stitched with brass detailing of vintage Disney art from some of the original classics, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and more. These clutches are very classic in design and are a true investment piece at $1600. This Snow White is one of my favourites, I love that it has all of the dwarves and is old marketing for the film's re release in 1944.

Mickey Mouse watches have been a pop culture classic for years! This one is an updated version and absolutely adorable! Being a basic silver and black leather watch makes it easy to incorporate into your daily accessory game as Mickey's arms twist around telling you that you're late! At under $100 this Mickey Mouse Classic Ingersoll Watch is a must!

I WANT THIS SWEATER BADLY! Definitely a hard covet. I love how it reminds me of the sweaters of the 90s, forever a 90s kid, and it's message is key. Listen up kids, Growing Up Is OVERRATED! Found on my favourite site, Asos and at under $60 this sweater is perfect for that normcore fashionista who needs some colour and whimsy. Find this sweater here!
