WMCFW Day 4: Caitlin Power

Caitlin Power creates empowering clothing for women that takes them from the boardroom to a night out. Her clothing is on point, the tailoring hugs the curves of a woman and the dynamic use of textures and fabrics adds to the elegance and strength of the design.

This season in lieu of a runway show, Caitlin Power opted for a presenattion which was refreshing in a week of runway. This change also allowed for closer inspection of the clothing and see the stregth of the collection together as a whole. And bonus points, they must have known we were coming a they had champagne filled glasses for guests as they walked in. A woman could own each piece and still have wide variety while presenting a stylish continuity.

I am in love with the use of leather in this spring collection, more and more designers are using leather in a fresh way that adds such a strong dimension to women's clothing without crossing into Sons of Anarchy territory.

Caitlin Power partnered with Pandora this season, both brands are about empowering women and they both do it with style. Pandora has become well known for their charm bracelets that you can customise with a wide array of charms to show off your personality.
