WMCFW Day 3: Hilary MacMillan SS15

Hilary MacMillan was featured as one of our designers whom we were most excited to see this season and we were far form disappointed. Hilary MacMillan showcased one of the best Spring/Summer collections I have see.

I sat front row between two women both of different generations than myself and teh three of us were equally as excited as each look went down the runway. I think that is one of the stengths of Hilary MacMillan, she designs classic, well designed pieces but they're still current and modern.

Last seaosn Hilary was inspired by her journey through the HIghlands rediscovering her family roots and this collection still had the family connection, inspired by the sunsets only experienced in Southern Ontario's cottage country-sunset's best experienced with friends and family. As in last season when the fabric's print was done by her mother so was this season's dramatic sunset coloured fabrics.
