WMCFW Day 2: Elan and Castor SS15

Here at the Blond Champagne we have a soft spot for Elan and Castor. We were fortunate enough to have met Leah Antoinette, the designer, and we love that she designs a line of "clothing that loves you back."

Elan and Castor has an amazing aesthetic. In the varied textures of the material featured in the collection, knitwear-silk-cotton, there is a strong consisitency that is uniquely Elan & Castor. There is a bohemian feel to this season, it compliments a strong woman who uses fashion as means to progress her message. I can see long days spent with friends, on the beach, the park and to the patios, all while wearing these exquisite garments.

Leah was featured in an excellent piece by the Globe and Mail that showcased new emerging talent and the candidness she expresses is very refreshing. This is a young woman who knows herself and knows where she wants to go, she will not be held back and we cannot wait to see where she goes next-we just know it will be where she wants to be.
