I feel that we owe Alexander Wang major credit for the sportwear trend that is taking over fashion. Sure the bloggers and show attendees may have been pushing their runners for a while but Wang truly made the look runway worthy and he's pushing it further with a Parisian flare with his latest collection for Balenciaga S/S 2015.

I ADORE the jackets and vests which is not something you would think to love in a Spring/Summer show but these floor length jackets and vests are stunning! Borderline cape, I love the drama they evoke without feeling overdressed. Too often we associate floor length with formality but Wang has made it casual while keeping the drama and I look forward to seeing it on the streets.

Hot pants! I am beyond happy these are coming back and in layering styles! The hot pants layered beneath the mesh and sheer fabrics give a touch of sexy in the lady like silhouettes of midi skirts. I have a pair of high waist black shorts that I am yearning since seeing the look with the white, cream and sheer top.

The fresh faced models with simple hair and minimal accessories should be a sign of rejoice. I will not argue the continuation of minmalism in beauty. The attention was on the cycling/sport sunglasses with their high fashion band on the back. The shoes were flat or had a small heel, I love the lace up trend now and am happy to see it in Spring/Summer. Practical with and edge of fashion.

Overall Wang has delivered on what he does best for Balenciaga. He has stayed true to the impeccable structuring and feminine detailing and has given it an edge with subtle drama and sports detailing.
