Haute Couture Bubbles: Elie Saab

Elie Saab is a red carpet staple. Going through this collection here at The Blond Champagne we are already hedging our bets on which star will be wearing which dress and when. It's great to be a red carpet staple but in being that, it means Saab is designing for that red carpet. Elie Saab makes women pretty, his dresses are classic cuts with beautiful detailing but never are they a fashion risk.

In looking at this collection you can see where Saab is taking a literal metaphor of the elements of Earth, wind, water and fire alongside the juxtaposition of dark and light. As I previously said, these dresses are beautiful but nothing is getting my fashion pulse going. I am not offended by any of the offerings I just want more. More drama, more risk and more innovation. That being said if this is the sure thing on the red carpet I look forward to seeing it.
